At one time in Southern California, Mexican taxis were a common sight as they were free to cross the border taking customers both to and from Mexico. Like other youth of their time pachucos appreciated owning their own car. Just as the taxi owners strove to customize theirs to set it apart from all of the other taxis, so did the pachucos modify theirs to project their unique style.

Contributing artist of Pachucos y Sirenas, Alfredo Cardenas, will takes us on a tour of his artist made Tijuana Taxi.
