Farewell to AlterNative Voices' Susanne Aikman

Zora Susanne "Susie" Aikman, 1945-2014

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Susanne Aikman, the longtime host and producer of  alterNative Voices.  Susie had been diagnosed with an advanced form of cancer just a precious few months earlier and left us Sunday, June 21 surrounded by her closest friends and family.  alterNative Voices first aired on January 2, 1992.  It was a charter program on the first all American Indian radio network, American Indian Radio on Satellite, and was syndicated for 10 years on 54 stations.  She was 69.
