Boettcher Concert Hall! Can the CSO Save it?

The discussion is on! The Colorado Symphony team would like to see a major renovation, not a demolition. Steve Chavis gives us an update Monday on First Take with Lando and Chavis at 8:35am.

Boettcher Concert Hall was built over 35 years ago as the home of the orchestra, an iconic venue, and one of the very few in-the-round symphony halls in the world. 


This week’s Vinyl Vault features a 1979 album by guitarist Robben Ford, “The Inside Story.” Ford was a veteran of both blues and fusion bands by the time he recorded this and the music draws heavily from both genres. As a teenager, he played in the straight ahead blues band, The Charles Ford Band with his brothers.

Denver Arts & Venues, and Blue Roots Denver present BLUES & JAZZ FILM SERIES at McNichols Civic Center Building located at 144 W Colfax Street in Denver. This film series is part of Five Points Jazz Festival presents.
