Come celebrate the 30th Annual Colorado Black Art Festival: Origins - July 8-10; 10am to 8pm - Denver City Park West.

You are invited to join in the celebration! Bring the family and plan to stay awhile, there's something for everyone. When was the last time you had fun doing a scavenger hunt?  CBAF's Scavenger Hunt will take you on an excursion of the entire festival grounds - explore and find the answers to questions on African American arts & culture with family or friends.  Scavenger Hunt starts at the Information Booth near the 17th Avenue & Esplanade entry gate.

We love being out in the local jazz communities across Colorado. All summer long, we're settin' up the KUVO booth at more than 55 festivals and events. Our mission as an independent, public radio station is to provide distinctive music, news, and informational programming that reflects the values and cultural diversity of its listener community. What better way to do that than be out in the community celebrating with our listeners from Colorado border to border!

The Five Points Jazz Festival, now in its 12th year, brings people together for a day of food, fun and fantastic music. The free festival takes place the third Saturday of May each year and celebrates the history of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music’s legends such as Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington and many others. Since its inception in 2004, the Five Points Jazz Festival has grown each year in size and popularity.
