Paquito D’Rivera was a child prodigy on sax and clarinet, by the time he was a teen, he had already traveled to New York and Santo Domingo to perform as a featured soloist with an orchestra.  In his native Cuba he had played with the  National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba and became the youngest endorser of Selmer instruments. While visiting New York he promised himself that one day he would relocate to N.Y.

At the age of only 29, Theo Croker not only has the chops to be an outstanding trumpeter, he also has imaginative music concepts, the love of many different styles of music, compositional skills and the music education that has given him a solid foundation to build on, oh yeah-one more thing-he has the genes as he is the grandson of the hall of fame trumpeter & vocalist, Grammy® winner,  Adolphus “Doc” Cheatham.  Theo is from Leesburg, Florida, when he was 11 years old he spent a summer with his granddad
