On “Wulfie’s Wax Museum,” on the Night Beat, we celebrate both the New Year, and the birthday of the late, great vibraphonist, Milt Jackson, the legendary “Bags”. We’ll listen to cuts from 3 different LP’s: “Olinga,” from 1974 on the CTI label, “Night Mist,” a release from 1981 on the Pablo label, and a classic CTI recording as co-leader on Stanley Turrentine’s 1972 album, “Cherry.”

Tune in on Monday, January 1 at 8pm for the next Monday Night Beat, on KUVO Jazz.
