The Polite Jazz Quartet introduce the easy listening of polite jazz. Robert Karow coined the term “polite jazz” from the term “polite be bop”, a term applied to groups of the post be bop era, such as The George Shearing Quintet and The Modern Jazz Quartet, among others. The quartet: Robert Karow-vibes, Jean Milofsky-Piano, Josh Filley-Bass, and Ben Makinen, Drums.
