JAM: Erik Troe Features Five Artists

This week at 4:30pm and 5:30pm on ‘Jazz Caravan’ host Erik C. Troe will feature five different artists who burned briefly, but brightly in recording careers that spanned under five years.

The series concludes this afternoon with a few selections featuring virtuoso bassist Scott LaFaro, who took his instrument to places few people would have previously thought possible! Best known for a legendary stint in the Bill Evans Trio, LaFaro was only 25 when his life was cut short in an auto accident.
