Indy Booksellers Survive, Ready to Thrive

Your neighborhood independent bookstore may have been a part of the annual meeting of the Mountain & Plains Independent Booksellers Association in Denver this month. Having survived the recession, the mom and pop booksellers are invigorated these days. Laura Ayrey, executive director of the non-profit trade group shared her enthusiasm for small bookstores and human curators with First Take.
