Hazel Miller Headlines "Jazzed" Benefit for Inner City Health Ctr.

interview with Kraig Burleson
At the Inner City Health Center in Denver, specialists in federal and state paperwork are helping patients get signed up in time for the open enrollment period of the state's health exchange (October 1). CEO Kraig Burleson visited First Take to describe their work and what the new national and state health policy means for his clients, which include musicians and service workers, those with two or three part-time jobs, but none offer insurance benefits.

The most celebrated of the ICHC clients is Denver jazz and blues diva Hazel Miller, who headlines the "Jazzed" benefit on Thursday September 19, 2013 at Infinity Park Event Center, 4400 E. Kentucky (at Birch) in Glendale, Colo.

The home page of the Inner City Health Center website has a video of Hazel Miller's experience at ICHC.
