FIVE POINTS JAZZ FESTIVAL — FREE! SATURDAY, MAY 16

Thanks to the City and County of Denver’s Arts and Venues…it’s here…Five Points Jazz Festival. This free event  takes place right on Welton Street — be sure to stop by the KUVO booth close at 29th and Welton close to the main stage. CLICK HERE FOR THE SCHEDULE.

We will be broadcasting all day ‘live’ as well as providing updates of all the happenings. Don’t forget the three Lifetime Achievement Awards to Sam Mayfield, Jimmy Trujillo and Joe Bonner. One of the most culturally diverse lineups with music from 8 stages, over 30 bands will bring our community an afternoon filled with all types of jazz , Latin jazz, blues, funk, trios, youth-focused programming and more. Come out to Five Points to enjoy this free festival of music, food, culture and fun.  

Celebrating the history of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music’s legends such as Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and many more.
