Dr. Robert Greer reviews Astrophysics for People in a Hurry

Aug 8, 2017

Whoever thought science would be chic? Not sports or the latest movie or America's Got Talent or even politics, but science? And as much as in Siddhartha Mukherjee's Medical blockbuster books, The Emperor of All Maladies, and The Gene, Neil de Grasse Tyson has made not only science, but of all things Astrophysics chic and in vogue with his latest book, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry.

In it the famous American Astrophyscist tells readers in understandable prose such things as, what the nature of science and time are. How we humans are shoehorned into the Universe. How the Milky Way (our own personal galaxy) was formed. As well as things as mundane as how planets and asteroids are named.
