A summer of love and ambition under the stars kicks off June 8. Epic love stories, family dramas, and laugh-out-loud fun are coming to the Colorado Shakespeare Festival this summer. CU Presents is the home of performing arts on the beautiful University of Colorado Boulder campus. With hundreds of concerts, plays, recitals and more on our stages each year, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is a professional theatre company devoted to Bard’s works.

Jun 8-Aug 12Love’s Labour’s Lost by William Shakespeare; start your summer with a frothy, funny celebration of love and learning.

Jun 22-Aug 11 Richard III by William Shakespeare; the Bard’s most murderous, malicious and mesmerizing king comes to the CSF indoor stage for the first time.

Jul 6-Aug 11 – Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand; the inspiration behind the hit film “Roxanne,” Edmond Rostand’s timeless romantic comedy has it all: passion, panache and thrilling swordplay.

Jul 20-Aug 12 – You Can’t Take It With You by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman; seize the rare opportunity to see a hit screwball comedy on the professional stage.

Aug 5 – Edward III by William Shakespeare and Thomas Kyd; CSF’s beloved ‘Original Practices’ tradition continues with the gripping history play that’s been mired in mystery for hundreds of years.
