Richard Two Elk
Richard Two Elk began in public Radio in Berkeley, Calif. helping out with a Native American radio program on KPFA-Pacifica in 1977. In the fall of 1978 he returned to Boulder, Colorado and ended up helping some Native American students develop a Native American radio program at KGNU-FM. The students came and left, but Two Elk stayed on producing weekly programs for 5 years until 1983, when he left for service in the U.S. Army. After returning from his active duty, he has continued helping out with the program on KGNU off and on since 1990, and over the past 2 years has been presenting "WinterCamp Chronicles: Indian Voices of Our Times" once a month on KGNU. He is joined on IndigitNess Voice by his daughter, Kodid & son, Alix as co-hosts.
