Richard A. Hiller has served as TIAA-CREF vice president, Government Market since 2010. Mr. Hiller is responsible for defining, developing, building and delivering the TIAA-CREF approach for pension, supplemental savings and retiree health care to state and local government employers and employees.
Prior to his current post, Mr. Hiller served as vice president for Institutional Business Development from 2003 through 2009.
Beginning in 1981 Mr. Hiller has held positions within TIAA-CREF with increasing responsibilities. He has focused on institutional business with a concentration in governmental markets.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany. He is a FINRA registered principal and registered representative. Among other appointments, Mr. Hiller is a board member of Teachers Personal Investor Services and of Rocky Mountain PBS. He is married and has two children.
