Two performances 6pm and 8:30pm.
During an era when there is a shortage of significant male jazz and cabaret singers, Todd Murray has emerged as a notable interpreter of standards, newer material, and his own originals. Blessed with a deep baritone voice, Todd is an intimate performer who excels on romantic ballads, swings at every tempo, and does justice to the lyrics that he sings. His 2010 recording, Stardust & Swing, is filled with his subtle creativity and sincere emotions. The repertoire ranges from such vintage tunes as “Dream A Little Dream Of Me,” and “Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams” to his own “Patricia” and “The Girl From Waco.”
Todd Murray’s romantic singing is accessible and easy-going. He's the same likable person onstage as he is off. His rich baritone voice is a perfect outlet for his interpretations, making his performances authentic and genuine. In the future, Todd looks forward to further recording, producing other performer’s albums, collaborating with different artists, and writing more of his own music. And most of all, he is eager to share his joyful and heartfelt versions of timeless music with audiences worldwide. In 2016 he was awarded "Best Male Vocalist" and "Best Male Cabaret Show - Croon" as well as receiving the prestigious "Margaret Whiting Award" while performing at Jazz At Lincoln Center.
Murray currently tours his critically acclaimed show Croon around North America.
