KUVO Celebrates Veterans

Nov 9, 2016

This Veterans Day, KUVO spotlights the many musicians who at some point in their life served their nation in uniform. Some played music in military bands. Some worked behind the lines. Some fought. But they all went on to contribute to the nation musically!

Each hour on Veterans Day, you’ll hear us mention a particular player, composer, band or band leader, and note their service. On behalf of a grateful jazz audience, we’ll say “thank you.”
