Clare Church & Pete Lewis Interview at KUVO

Clare Church was forced to put a career spanning more than 30 years on hold after being diagnosed with task specific focal dystonia, a neurological condition which made it impossible for her to produce a sound on the saxophone or clarinet. 

Church - joined by her husband Pete Lewis - chatted with Jazz Caravan host Erik Troe about staying positive and her switch to drums!

The Thrill is Gone: B.B. KING, Tune in as KUVO Honors the Legend

Mr. King passed peacefully in his sleep at 9:40pm Pacific time May 14, 2015 at the age of 89.

The music world morns the loss of the blues legend. Be sure to tune in today on KUVO as we honor B.B. King.

Even with a long list of honors to his name - Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, Presidential Medal of Freedom - he maintained a relentless touring schedule well into his 80s.

Five Points Jazz Festival To Honor KUVO Hosts | May 16

Celebrate the rich history of Denver's Harlem of the West with the Five Points Jazz Festival May 16.

KUVO will be broadcasting live from our booth adjacent to the Joe Bonner Stage, so stop by to say hi and for some free 30th Anniversary goodies!

This year's Five Points Jazz Festival boasts eight stages serving up nearly 30 groups,  from Denver School of the Arts Jazz Workshop Orchestra to the Ken Walker Sextet.
